Event Details:

Soak up the views that River Derwent has to offer aboard a 19th century Tall Ship while James Craig is in Hobart for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival! This historic river flows more than 200 kilometers and drops more than 700 meters from its origin in the national park above Hobart, before emptying into Storm Bay and flowing into the Tasman Sea. 

Event Information:

Minimum Age: 8
Catering: BYO food. A bar is available on board to purchase alcohol and soft drinks.
What to wear: Please wear sensible footwear and bring a windproof jacket. Stilettos and sharp-heeled shoes strictly prohibited.
Boarding Time: 3.00pm for 3.30pm DEPARTURE

  • If, in the opinion of the Master on the day of the event the wind or sea state is deemed unsuitable for the safety of passengers, the event will be cancelled. A full refund will be issued upon cancellation.
